To all our supporters out there:

We’ve been busy at Local Route Labs this year. Our little two-man operation turned a corner in 2015 in pretty much every aspect of game development, and we will continue to stay on the grind to bring you more of the quality content you’ve come to expect from us.

A small sampling of our year in review:

*Just Shovelin’ was released in March. What can we say, we wanted to see what kind of turnaround we could do on a game start to finish, and what better game to try it on than one based on Tyler’s affinity for and Adam’s hatred of shoveling snow?

*Sometime in April, after countless hours plumbing the depths of Minecraft, Adam came close to discovering the meaning of life. Alas, the answer, along with all his gear, was lost in a particularly nasty Creeper attack...

*The Disc Golf Flight Lab celebrated a year of existence in July! Our first ever public offering had some time to marinate on the app stores, and it did some serious work. With almost 100K total downloads, we deem the unofficial demo for Disc Golf Unchained a success!

*Disc Golf Unchained was released into the wild in August after years of development! The project we’ve used as an excuse to neglect many of our other responsibilities as adult humans in society was finally a reality, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Much more to come!

*Tyler finally got around to playing his first disc golf tournament as a “Professional,” and the results were, how you say, exactly what you would expect of someone playing their first pro tournament. Despite the rough first outing, he decided to do it again, with far better results…

*Needing a small breather from disc golf, we took to developing a follow-up to Just Shovelin’, this time pushing the pace to complete a game in 1 month. Here we are on the last day of 2015, and it’s ShovelTime! Whatever your feelings are of shoveling, you’ll love ShovelTime!

It’s been quite the year for us in terms of getting stuff done, and we can’t wait to do even more in 2016. We are so fortunate that we get to do what we love on a daily basis, and we wouldn’t be where we are without folks like you who’ve seen the potential in our ideas. We truly appreciate all the words of support and constructive criticism we’ve received from you, and it’s a big reason we keep pushing forward with our work. Thank you for all of your contributions. These are exciting times, and we are so happy to have you along for the ride!

Much love and Happy New Year!

Tyler & Adam
